Escritor y pensador ruso-norteamericano, nacido en Stalingrado (1952) Su padre, Jacob McDONALD JEFFERSON, ejerció actividades confidenciales en la extinta URRSS durante varios años. Allá conoció a la anticomunista Natacha PETROVICH, con quien mantuvo relaciones amorosas y a quien sacó clandestinamente de Moscú (en 1958) donde había vivido con ella luego del nacimiento de su único hijo. En EEUU Jules formó parte de un grupo de jóvenes adherentes del «Liberty Movement» y fundadores de la corriente «Philosophy Without Reverence» en The University of Kentucky, entre los años 1969-1974 cuando desapareció del campus académico intempestivamente. Viajaba, con frecuencia, por Centro y Sur América. También hacia Alemania e Inglaterra, comunicándose mediante postales que enviaba a selectos amigos de juventud. Se desconoce el lugar exacto donde tiene su residencia ni las actividades que realiza.
